[EU4] The Problem With Isolationism (Mandate of Heaven)

I produced this video in response to an update to the historical grand strategy game Europa Universalis IV that added an “isolationism” mechanic to states within Japan. At the time, I had recently submitted my bachelor’s thesis at the University of Chicago on the problems that come with treating Tokugawa Japan as “isolated”.
